Landscape Protection Plan

DSN Group’s Landscape Protection Plan (LPP) is defined as our commitment to sustainable land-use and management across our estates and surrounding landscapes. The plan reflects our roadmap towards achieving this ambition, linked to &Green’s financing and encompassing actions within our plantations in East Kalimantan and engagement with third party suppliers. LPP outlines the environmental return and social inclusion impact we aim to generate during the financing period, including protecting forests, sustainable intensification of productive land, restoring forests, and promoting social inclusion.

We employ a comprehensive approach to managing our complex geography, defined by the land use plans of our subsidiaries, including plasma and independent smallholders’ plantations. DSNG remains dedicated to delivering long-term environmental and social returns, comprising protection of the forest (ER 1), sustainable intensification of productive land (ER 2), restoration of forest (ER 3), and social inclusion (SI). Our Landscape Protection Plan guides our efforts to create positive impact and ensure a sustainable future for all stakeholders.
