DSNG paid dividend of Rp 104.6 billion or Rp 10 per share.

JAKARTA, 2 APRIL 2018 – PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk (“The Company”, “DSNG”) today held the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (“AGM”)  at Financial Hall, Graha CIMB Niaga 2nd Floor, Jl. Jenderal Sudirman Kav. 58, Jakarta 12190.One of the resolutions at the AGM was approval to pay cash dividend to shareholders of Rp 104.6 billion or Rp 10 per share. The amount of dividend is 18% of the Company’s net profit in 2017 which reached Rp 585.2 billion. Furthermore, the AGM authorized the Board of Directors of the Company to conduct dividend payment procedures under laws and aplicable regulations. Pursuant to Financial Services Authority (OJK) regulation, the dividend will be paid not later than 30 days after the announcement of the summary of the AGM resolutions. After the AGM, the Company conducted a Public Expose attended by the management of the Company. In the Public Expose, the Company presented the operational and financial performance during 2017 and its plan in 2018. President Director of the Company, Andrianto Oetomo, explained that in 2017 the Company recorded a strong performance after hit by El-Nino in previous year. The production of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB)  amounted to 1.6 million tons, an increase of 42% compared to the previous year. Meanwhile, the Company’s CPO production also increased by 29% to 403.6 thousand tons, with the average selling price of Rp 8.1 million per ton, 8% higher compared to 2016. As of December 31, 2017, the Company has 13 plantation estates and 7 palm oil mills with a total capacity of 450 tonnes of FFB per hour and 1 Kernel Crushing Plant which produces Palm Kernel Oil (PKO) with a capacity of 200 tonnes per day. The number of mature areas  until the end of 2017 reached 72,345 hectares of the total planted area of ​​90,288 hectares. Andrianto Oetomo added that the strong operational performance in palm oil plantation has brought a positive impact on the financial performance of the Company. In 2017, the Company’ revenue increased by 33% to Rp 5.2 trillion, whereas  palm oil business segment contributed 83%, while the rest was contributed by wood products. In 2018, the Company has a plan to build a new Palm Oil Mill (POM) in West Kalimantan, in line with the increase of mature areas in the province. The POM, which has capacity of 30 tons per hour will be the first POM located in West Kalimantan. The total capacity of the Company’s POM will reach 480 tons per hour when the new POM commercially operated. In addition, the Company also plan to develop a Biomass Power Plant in East Kalimantan as the Company’s commitment in developing sustainable palm oil industry. ABOUT THE COMPANY PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk was established on 29 September 1980 which engaged in palm oil industry and wood product. Currently, the Company has 13 plantations estates and 7 palm oil mills with a total capacity of 450 tons per hour, which process Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) into CPO.
