DSN GROUP Signs Credit Agreement On Estate Partnership With Ksu Harapan Baru
20 November — On Wednesday, 20 November 2013 in Sangatta, Kutai Timur Regency, East Kalimantan, PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk through its subsidiary PT Dharma Intisawit Nugraha (DIN) has signed a credit agreement on Estate Partnership Development with Koperasi Serba Usaha (KSU) Harapan Baru.
The signing was carried by PT Dharma Intisawit Nugraha Director, Njodi Dharma, with Head of KSU Harapan Baru, Ahdarudin who was accompanied by Secretary Muhammad Supron and Treasurer Darmansyah. Deputy Regent for Kutai Timur, Drs. H. Ardiansya Sulaiman, M.Si was also present during the signing.
In the agreement PT DIN has completed the development of partnership estate for KSU Harapan Baru with total area of 732 hectares in Muara Wahau Village, Kutai TImur Regency, East Kalimantan. The partnership between PT DIN and KSU Harapan Baru has started since 2008 where PT DIN assisted in development of KSU’s estate through partnership scheme. Going forward, KSU Harapan Baru will manage the estate and will sell the output DSN Group according to the pre-arranged agreement.
Njodi Dharma, PT DIN Director, said that this agreement is an important phase in estate partnership development which has been started by PT DIN since 2008.
”The estate management after this signing until full credit repayment will be carried out professionally and transparent according to best practices in plantation management. We will also involve KSU Harapan Baru in estate management to transfer the knowledge and technical knowledge on plantation management best practices,” Mr. Dharma stated in his opening speech.
Mr. Ahdarudin, Head of KSU Harapan Baru, is very appreciative towards the credit agreement between his cooperative and PT DIN. Mr. Ahdarudin hopes that this partnership will continue as to benefit both KSU Harapan Baru and PT DIN in the future.
