Renewable energy

In September 2020, DSNG commissioned the first BioCNG Plant from Palm Oil Mill Effluent in Indonesia. This project is a manifestation of DSNG’s commitment to implement the circular economy concept by reducing palm oil mill waste and promoting sustainable resource utilization and natural system regeneration. Building upon this accomplishment, we have expanded our efforts to monetize our biomass, replacing fossil fuels in power generation.

As we continue on our circular economy journey, DSNG is excited to announce the upcoming commissioning of our second methane capture and BioCNG plant in the first half of 2023. This will not only further reduce our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions but also yield significant reductions in our reliance on fossil fuels, resulting in substantial cost savings. We remain steadfast in our dedication to creating a greener and more sustainable future through innovative initiatives that align economic growth with environmental stewardship.

A sustainable way of using energy

2 Bio-CNG plant which produces total compressed natural gas in cylinder with a capacity of 850m3 per hour

Compressed Gas in Tubes

DSN produces Biomethane Compressed Natural Gas with the capacity of 850m3 per hour which stored in a tube and packed in a safe way for workers and the environment. Bio-CNG in tubes will be distributed using trucks that also use Bio-CNG fuel to all emplacements (employee housing) and other Palm Oil Mill (POM) of the Company in Muara Wahau area to be used as replacement fuel for conventional solar power plants.
