SPOTT Ranking

As part of its commitment to transparency, DSN Group actively participates in the Sustainable Palm Oil Transparency Toolkit (SPOTT assessment conducted by Zoological Society of London (ZSL)). SPOTT is designed to measure the transparency of companies in public disclosures of best practices and sustainability commitments.

DSN Group recognizes that SPOTT provides a platform to promote industry transparency and accountability to drive the uptake and implementation of environmental and social best practices in high biodiversity impact sectors.

DSN Group’s score in 2020 was 75.3% and ranked 16th. For 2021, we have improved our score to 85.9% and ranked 7th on the SPOTT ranking. In 2022, our score increased rapidly to 86.4% and ranked 12th. Most recently, in 2023, we scored 90.4% and ranked in the top 10. We are committed to further improving our ESG performance by using the SPOTT platform as a tool to monitor our progress and that of other companies.

DSN Group also participates in the S&P Global ESG Assessment, which measures a company’s performance in terms of managing material ESG risks, opportunities and impacts, derived from a combination of company disclosures, media and stakeholder analysis, modelling approaches and in-depth company engagement through the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA).

The S&P Global ESG Score is a relative score that measures a company’s performance and management of ESG risks, opportunities and impacts compared to other companies in the same industry classification. In 2023, DSNG obtained a score of 39 with a composition of 34 CSA scores and 5 model scores.
