DSN Group Conducted Wage System Socialization to Ensure Employee Rights
Muara Wahau, May 31, 2024 – DSN Group, a major palm oil company operating in Muara Wahau, conducted a wage system socialization event to ensure the rights of its employees. Held at PT. Swakarsa Sinarsentosa – Jabdan 1 Afdeling 2, the event was attended by over 100 workers.
Anjar Dwi Nugraha, Regional Head of East Kalimantan 1 DSN Group, explained that the purpose of the socialization is to educate workers about their rights, obligations, and responsibilities to create a productive and conducive work environment. “This socialization is also part of our support to the local government in promoting open and fair job opportunities for all parties,” Anjar added.
During the socialization, workers received important information about the 2024 Regency Minimum Wage (UMK) of East Kutai, overtime, incentives, and premiums. It is crucial for workers to be well-informed about these components as they directly impact their regular income.
Naryadi, an employee of DSN Group, stated that having clear information about labor regulations, especially concerning wages, is very important to him. “This socialization not only provided information about wage regulations but also taught us how to voice our concerns if issues arise in the future,” Naryadi explained.
To date, DSN Group employs over 20,000 workers in various positions across its operational areas. Every year, the company adjusts employee salaries based on a merit system that aligns with individual performance and market values within the framework of applicable labor regulations.
The company also conducts salary surveys in collaboration with independent consultants to ensure competitive employee welfare levels.
